Metro Comedy Connection presents world-class stand-up comic Kyle Grooms

Washington, DC – Metro Comedy Connection, started in 2009 by comedian Ed Blaze, continues its mission of bringing people together for good times and laughs, with another great show on the horizon.

Metro Comedy is pleased to present its next outstanding comedy show on July 1st, featuring Kyle Grooms – dubbed as one of the funniest young comics on the New York stand-up circuit.  Kyle has performed on such shows as Showtime at the Apollo, Premium Blend and Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn. He has also performed internationally, throughout England, Holland and at the Montreal Comedy Festival. Kyle's TV and Radio credits include Def Comedy Jam, Comic View, and The Dave Chappelle Show.

Metro Comedy provides up-and-coming comics with a venue to showcase their skills while also featuring national comedians for a full line-up of laughs, with shows held monthly at Mr. Smith's in Georgetown and Station 9 on U Street. Aspiring comics can also take part in open mic nights held at Mr. Smith's on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.
